GOD F1RST
We no longer reduce God to manageable terms. No longer are we tempted to manipulate Him or His Word. We do not have to explain Him and His will or defend Him and His ways. Like the grieving prophet Isaiah, we get new glimpses of Him "lofty and exalted," surrounded by legions of seraphim who witness Him as "the LORD of hosts" as they shout forth His praises in antiphonal voice (Isaiah 6:1-3). All this gives new meaning to the singer’s ancient song:
"Oh LORD, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth! When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers the moon and the stars you set in place what are mere mortals that you should think about them?"

At GodF1rst, we believe in the “Tell, Show, Try, and Do” approach to discipleship. This comprehensive method reflects Jesus’ model for teaching His followers, involving not just the impartation of knowledge but also active demonstration, guided practice, and ultimately empowerment to take action.
TELL
Jesus began by teaching His  disciples—shared wisdom, truths, and divine principles through His words. We believe in sharing the teachings of the Bible clearly and effectively as the inspired, authoritative Word of God revealing the love of God to the world.
SHOW
Jesus then demonstrated these teachings through His actions, showing compassion, performing miracles, and living a life of love and service. We strive to model Christ-like behavior, demonstrating how biblical truths are lived out in our daily lives.
TRY
Jesus encouraged His disciples to practice what they had learned by giving them opportunities to serve, teach, and heal. We provide a safe space for individuals to apply what they are learning in real-world contexts, growing in their spiritual gifts and gaining confidence.
DO
Finally, Jesus entrusted His disciples with His mission—He empowered them to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19-20). We believe in equipping believers to take the lead, actively living out their faith and making a difference in their communities.
This principle encourages a balanced and effective way of learning and applying spiritual truths, following Jesus’ example. Our mission is to disciple others just as Jesus did—by teaching, demonstrating, supporting practice, and empowering for action—so that each believer can fulfill God’s calling in their life.

Making Disciples
Every gospel movement has its core processes to help people far from God become followers of Jesus and then make disciples. This is at the heart of our understanding of discipleship and spiritual growth.
Developing Leaders
​For that, we look to the Master! The greatest leadership role model of all time! You can’t develop leaders to lead like Jesus, without Jesus. Jesus knew that to see His ministry multiply, He had to develop leaders from within.
Helping Churches
​For every successful gospel movement, there are several essential structures in place. These structures work synergistically with the missional church and partner with the local community.
