I (Haksun) Sunny Shin was born and raised in South Korea and immigrated to the United States with my husband in 1977. I graduated from Chonnam National University of Nursing in Korea, and upon arriving to the States, I studied for and obtained license to become a registered nurse. I worked as an RN at Winthrop Hospital in Long Island, New York, for 30 years, where my husband and I raised two sons.
After retirement, which was during the pandemic, we decided to move to Laguna Woods, CA to be closer to other family and our two boys, who were now grown up and living out near the west coast. We currently serve the Crossline Community Church in Laguna Hills, and believe God has leaded us in our lives with His love and blessings.
