For the last year, my brother Fernando has been working hand in hand with a community of over 350 to help improve their living conditions while working to preserve their cultural identity and, most importantly, demonstrating the love of Jesus in ACTION.
Our progress so far is acquiring (7) seven SimPure UV Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Systems. The cost,
- per unit is $230.00.
- replacement filters are $90.00.
- Plus, shipment to Panama.
Purchasing the same unit in Panama is $721.00 for each system, plus a year and six months of replacement filters not included. The above water purifier systems can filter up to 400 gallons per day, eliminating 99.999 of the contaminants in the water.
To move forward or onward, we will need (1) pump and (1) tank for each of the (7) filters already purchased.

Water Transfer Pump
- POPULO Hybrid Water Transfer Pump, 120VAC/20VDC 4.0Ah 325GPH 45Ft Portable Electric Utility Pump, Electric Cordless Water Pump for Home, Pool, RV with 3/4" Garden Hose Thread and Suction Filter https://a.co/d/12rTkWh
- The water suction pump has a suction lift of up to 6 ft, a Max flow of 325 GPH, and a 45 ft Max head lift, which can meet most daily uses. In addition, the utility pump's water intake and discharge ports adopt any ¾” garden hose thread. (discharging hose not included).
- Each cost $139.00

Storage Tanks
- 330 Gallon IBC Totes Tank
- They have an HDPE inner storage tank with galvanized steel support and a skid. Each tank is DOT/UN approved, meeting spec 31HA1/Y. Each caged IBC tote has a 4-way forklift entry. Each tote tank has a 6" top fill port and a 2" drain valve. Our totes are approved for filling products of a maximum density of 1.9. Totes can be stacked up to 4 high while empty. Our 275 and 330 caged water totes are FDA-approved, making them safe for food products.
- Each storage tank costs $90.00
In early June, we sent out an email requesting financial support for a water purification project that my brother Fernando Jonas in Panama is spearheading on behalf of GodF1rst.org.
We sincerely want to thank everyone who generously donated to the people of Embera, Maje village water filtration program.
This project will help to provide clean, safe drinking water to hundreds of people in the Maje community. The water in Maje will no longer be contaminated with bacteria and other pollutants, which can cause various health problems, including diarrhea, vomiting, and cholera. Here is the beginning of installing the water filtration system stations that will remove these contaminants, making them safe for drinking and cooking.
We are so grateful for the financial support of this critical project. Your donation has made a real difference in the lives of the Embera people of Maje. Thank you again for your generosity.

Dear ministry friends, we need your help with this ongoing effort. As you know, contaminated drinking water and poor sanitation are linked to the transmission of diseases such as cholera, diarrhea, dysentery, hepatitis A, typhoid, and polio. Absent, inadequate, or inappropriately managed water and sanitation services expose individuals to preventable health risks.
Your gift to the water purification project will help the Emberá community "Where Most Needed" equips us with the resources, materials, and equipment to fulfill our mission of relief and evangelism wherever God is working; GodF1rst relies entirely on the provision of God, for our finances. As a ministry, we are meant to depend on God for provision, meaning we should look to him to provide for us when our means seem inadequate. The miracle of Jesus feeding five thousand people is the premier biblical example of God providing when our measures seem insufficient. Join me in His blessings – Thank you, we couldn't do this without you!
To donate, go to www.godf1rst.org. It is transparent and secure to give, even to set up monthly recurring gifts to child sponsorship that will bring generational transformation to the community of Maje.
~ Proverbs 19:17 ~ He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord, and that which he hath given will he pay him again. Your influence will impact the lost and the Body of Christ through your prayers, and with your labor of love, we can change the lives of the Emberá community of Maje.
